Tattoos have many meanings, and purposes. Depending on what cultural background you are from, or what your beliefs or motives are for getting one, they can be very meaningful to you, and promote a special time, event or symbolize a special person in your life.

There have been all sorts of accusations as to why people get tattoos inked onto themselves in the locations that they do so, and you might find that there are more sights for novelty reasons, than actual reasons.

“Demonic” or “Dark/Goth Inspired” Tattoos don’t always mean that someone is a satanist, atheist might be a more accurate term, but these people don’t primarily get tattoos to qualify themselves as ‘Bad-ass’ per-say, but more of a political statement, of not having to submit their individuality to society, and they feel their mark of originality is by doing the opposite of what they think is accepted among the majority of ‘civilized people’

Intricate or immensely detailed tattoos involving fantasy or fairy-tail creatures do take quite a bit of thought and are carried out through quite a long and extensive process, you might think that your average person would get tattoos like this, however to each their own, they do have a symbolization of their own, whether it be new-age influence, the admiration of ink art, or even just a bold statement of declaring independence.

Tattoos in the youth today you’ll notice are very small, and are questionable in motive, teens will be excited to receive tattoos and even more excited when given an instance or a reason to show them off, now thats not to say they do not have any meaning, but they are usually of an item they favor, whether it be a character or a colored picture, these types of tattoos will not be visible and if they are, they are more innocent than anything.
